    Social Tennis Thursdays

Most Thursdays, those of a sporting nature may descend upon the court, to engage in a slightly less formal tennis evening, where our resident coach, former squash Commonwealth Gold medal winner Joe Kneipp, will start by testing your reactions with a few games to warm up. What follows is a mix of informal pairings rotating around the court, for a fun doubles evening that often lasts until closing time! A great way to meet new people, spaces are usually limited, so please contact manager Joe on +1 284 541 667 or by email: manager@nailbaysportsclub.com to check availability.

Mr Fenty history of the Sugar Mill ruins

Improving our site post Irma, we recently added new signage and informational plaques around the sugar mill and sugar works ruins that give Sugarcane Restaurant its' name, describing the nature of the site, and referring to the important history these ruins represent. Open to visits by all passing, the ruins are a valuable reminder of the BVI's past, and a visit is highly recommended. Upon the unveiling of the plaques, local historian Mr Paul Fenty was kind enough to give a more in depth talk on the nature of the site, and the history it represents. Mr Fenty is available for a wide variety of local historical tours, and can be contacted on +1 284 545 0409

    Octoberfest

Historically, Sugarcane has wholeheartedly embraced the world famous German festival Oktoberfest, by throwing a party featuring lots of draft beer! What's not to like? If you are around in October, please give us a call and we'll let you know the importnant details (e.g. what type of beer will we have?).
